A-HA Moments

AMAZING...INSPIRING...UPLIFTING...

These are just a few of the many words my fellow teammates used to describe their experiences at the It Works One Team One Mission Conference last weekend in Florida. I was able to watch them experience this magnificent adventure via Facebook, but it was even more exciting to hear them share their a-ha moments via a team phone call. Many of what they said were quotes from a speaker or someone they met, but they wanted to share them to help you see the opportunity, potential and support that is available through It Works.

Cayla Lund with Kami Dempsey

Cayla Lund
"It really hit home when they said that is takes only 5 like-minded people to go to the top."
"Get over those who don't believe in me and what their opinions of me are. I have to do my thing."

Stacy and Nathan Doering

 Stacy Doering
"It is so moving...it gets you to dig deep inside."
"They reminded us to keep our WHY in front of us. Don't let excuses hinder what you are fighting for."
"I want this for each one of you. It is so cool to celebrate each other."

Saran Stadtherr and Sarah Steffen

Sarah Stadtherr
"You just need to get there. The energy...the team building. It is very heart-to-heart."
"Run this business as if you lost your job tomorrow, not as if this is a hobby."
"Share your story..."

Sarah Steffen
"Literally you can't describe it. The people you connect with are so amazing. If you have never gone, you have to find any way you can to get there. Do it."

Lexy Drysdale and Kristen Lawson
Lexy Drysdale
"Start working your business for what you want, not what you feel."
"It is important to be consistent....be FUN....be yourself."
Kristen Lawson
"FEAR...Face Everything And Rise."
"You have to get out of the comfort zone to get to the end zone."
"Pick like-minded people for this journey. Go where you are celebrated, not where you are tolerated."

Lisa Tolbert, John Enter, Liz Enter
 Lisa Tolbert
"You have to get yourself to an event...it is so heartfelt."
"Share your story. Never give up. You have a blessing to give to people."
"One of the speakers said, 'We are more successful simply because we asked more people.'"
John Enter
"The worship service was amazing."
"Someone said, 'It's not who you are, it's whose you are.'"
"We fight FOR each other, not with each other."
Liz Enter
"Our CEO said, 'What if we had given up? We don't stop because if we stop then you stop.' For that same reason we won't stop."
"Say YES to your business."

Stephanie Francis with
Joel and Stefanie Dunn

Stephanie Francis
"You don't need a stage to tell your story."
"Share the struggle with everyone, because all people see is the fake happy stuff on Facebook."
"When I met the CEO's parents and they said they were nothing without us..."

Alissa and Ryan Amland

Alissa Amland
"When they talked about being comfortable and how it was never enough for them to be comfortable...We've been there too. We are ready to not be comfortable anymore. We CAN do this."

Amanda Heine and
Stephanie Graczyk
Stephanie Graczyk
"My moment was when a woman got on stage and said it took her 277 distributors to quit to get to her being an Ambassador. For me that clicked in my head and stuck with me because this biz can be tough. The key is she never gave up!"

Heather Brockman (top left) with teammates.
Heather Brockman
"A few that stick out most are when someone said, 'If you had to get to a certain level in the company to get your family back, how hard would you work?' I'm doing this FOR my family, so I guess I better work my butt off because I want this."
"It also struck me how all the big income earners are people just like me that have had struggles and have overcome. I know I can too! We ALL can!"

Heather Brockman watching via pay-per-view.

Becky Fenstermaker
"The praise and worship service blew my mind."
"This is where I'm supposed to be. This is the team I'm meant to be on. They truly do care about all of us."

One Team One Mission - Day 1

Every year there is a One Team One Mission Conference in Florida for It Works distributors from all over the world. This year there are at least 20,000 in attendance. Several members of Team Enter traded in their boots for flip flops and headed south this week. After an ill-timed Minnesota blizzard they were off to Tampa!
Tampa at night.

One of the It Works themes is Friendships, Fun & Freedom. It looks like Day One of OTOM proved the point that It Works is like one big family that has built friendships across the miles. Pictures were posted on Facebook of distributors meeting new team members from other states and countries. It takes just minutes for a bond to form.

The heart and soul of It Works stems from the top with our amazing CEO, Mark Pentecost, and his wife, Cindy. From what I've seen and heard, they are a humble, generous and giving couple. They stopped today and took pictures with my teammate's kids. Love that heart and enthusiasm!

You want to talk more about friendships and fun? Just take a look at these pictures. It is obvious these It Works distributors are having a blast reuniting with teammates and meeting new distributors as well.

Grabbing a late-night dinner after their flight got in.
Eating breakfast together.

A big focus for It Works
 is giving back to others.

Check this out! Several team members ran into the North American MMA Champion. Thomas Hughes (front, center) just happens to be an Ambassador Diamond with It Works!

It looks like Alissa might want to drive off with the It Works ENERGY ride.

Several husbands came along to support their wives.

Who We Are

It Works Distributors...Crazy Wrap Stars...Adventurers...Team Enter. We are called many things (and quite possibly other names behind our backs), but in the end one question remains. Who are we?

Well, we are teachers, daycare providers, social workers, cosmetologists, stay-at-home moms, construction workers, hairstylists, bartenders, paraprofessionals, dental hygienists, managers, coaches, admissions counselors, nurses, speech pathologists, baristas....and the list goes on and on. While we come from a variety of backgrounds we have one common thread that binds us together. That thread being our WHY.

You could ask any of us what our WHY is and we will have an answer or a story for you. While our answers differ in a variety of ways, one common theme is spun throughout our stories. We jumped on this crazy adventure because we love helping people improve their health and wellness, and we are fighting for financial freedom for our families.

For many of us our WHY is our family.
That being said, our families often have fun working  with us!
Our team, Team Enter, is a tiny dot in this It Works debt-free global company that is growing by leaps and bounds. Localized mainly in the Midwest, our team is full of passion, drive, desire and spunk. In a world that pegs all direct sales companies as a pyramid scheme, It Works is NOT, and I'm blessed to be a part of a team that encourages and supports each other. We all have made new friends since we began, and what a blessing to learn from and lean on each other.

2015 Christmas Party
You may be asking, "So why write this blog? What is the purpose of it?" While I don't make any claims to be a professional writer/blogger, I do enjoy writing and I enjoying connecting with people. As I talked with our Team Lead one day about what gifts I could use for our team these were the gifts I chose to use.

My "dream" for this blog is two-fold. First of all, I would love to use this blog to keep our team connected. We hail from several different states (and countries) have different sidelines, etc., but I think we can all benefit from learning from each other. How great to have one place for us to connect with those around us who are all working towards a similar goal. In some ways this blog will serve as our newsletter in a way.

If you aren't part of our team, please don't stop reading because YOU are part of the second purpose of this blog. If you are reading this, it is quite likely that one of my teammates referred you to this page to check out what It Works is all about and what life as a distributor is all about. I hope this blog helps YOU to see if this is a good fit for you, a possible future customer or distributor. This will be a place for you to read our stories, our WHYs, our struggles and successes, our hopes and dreams and so much more. This is a place for us to be real with YOU, and let YOU start to plan and dream as well.

We have FUN doing what we do!
Bottom Left: Team Leaders, Liz & John Enter

Most often these blogs will focus on various teammates, news items, funny tidbits, motivating quotes, team rewards and so on, but sometimes it will take a different spin. For instance, the next post (or two) will focus on the One Team One Mission Conference that is held every year in Florida. It will be a great chance to show you how It Works as a whole continues to enlighten their distributors, give them new training tools, announces new products, helps them connect and grow in one crazy, wild party. I'm unable to go this year, but can't wait for my teammates to share with me their pictures, quotes and inspiring moments from conference. Next year, that could be YOU there.

It Works has coined several phrases that are often seen in their marketing, on social media and in other places as well. I think one of their statements directly relates to this blog and its purpose of connecting our team with each other and YOU. WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER.

Until next time....that's a wrap.

After a wonderful training from our upline, Kim Haber. We are blessed to have such great leaders!
